# Add an avatar presenter to a training lesson

A reviewed script, language, licensed presenter and scene duration.

Updated October 27, 2026

## Put an approved presenter in a lesson

An avatar presenter is a licensed digital figure who speaks one scene of your lesson in place of a filmed employee. Training producers and managers at restaurant chains, retailers and other small or mid-size teams use one when plain slides stop holding attention. You choose the figure, paste the reviewed script and set the language, and a person on your side approves each scene. Video lessons with more than 200 avatar presenters, lip sync and narration in over 100 languages are available now. A presenter modeled on a real employee is a separate matter that needs that person’s documented consent.

## What happens on the free demo

- Book 30 minutes. Pick a time with Elvina's team. The demo is free and runs on Zoom.
- Show the team your goal. Bring one role or one procedure. The team shows how Elvina would handle it, using sample materials.
- Agree on the next step. You leave with a plan for the first step and its price. Nothing reaches your team until you approve it.

## Who this is for, and when

A training video producer at a quick-service restaurant chain is finishing a store-opening lesson for new shift leads. Static slides lose line cooks after a minute, so she wants a presenter walking through the checklist. Legal has one condition: no real employee likeness without a signed release, and nothing that reads as a personal endorsement.

## How it works in Elvina

A presenter introduces the opening checklist beside the three steps, without covering their labels.

- Open the video lesson draft in Creation Studio and select the scene where the opening checklist appears.
- Pick a presenter from the licensed set, paste the reviewed script for that scene, and set the learner language.
- Elvina renders a preview with the presenter positioned beside the three steps so the step labels stay uncovered.
- Fix pronunciation in the script, re-render only that scene, and send the lesson to review; it reaches the Learning Platform after approval.

## A worked example

A fictional regional bakery chain, Morning Loaf, builds a four-minute opening-checklist lesson for new shift leads from Store Opening SOP v7 in Company Knowledge. The producer chooses a licensed presenter, sets US English, and asks for a 35-second intro scene beside the three-step checklist.

- The rendered scene shows the presenter on the left while every checklist label remains fully visible.
- The regional trainer flagged two mispronounced product names, so the producer fixed the script and re-rendered one scene.
- The operations lead approved the lesson before it was assigned to 22 new shift leads.

## What to check before relying on it

Check pronunciation, lip synchronization and presenter rights. A preview must not imply that the person endorses your company.

- The presenter never overlaps text or step numbers in any frame.
- Each scripted sentence matches the approved SOP wording.
- Lip movement lines up with the audio at normal playback speed.
- No on-screen or spoken wording implies the presenter endorses the company.

## Where a person stays in charge

This operation does not build a presenter from a real employee's likeness; that needs documented consent and a separate rights review. Elvina does not verify whether your presenter license extends beyond internal training. A person approves every scene. Avatar video lessons are available now, with more than 200 presenters, natural voice and lip sync, and a lesson can be voiced in more than 100 languages.

## Who this is not for, and when another tool fits

### This is not the right fit if

- You want a presenter who looks like a real employee and have no signed release.
- The video is a public ad or an endorsement rather than internal training.
- Learners need to watch a real person perform a physical task on camera.

### Another kind of tool may fit better

- A video crew or a staff member on camera, when learners must see the real hands-on task.
- Your legal advisor, before any real person’s likeness is used in training.

## Questions

**Q:** Can I use a photo of our CEO as the presenter?

Not through this operation. A custom avatar for your brand or spokesperson is on the Enterprise plan, and a real person's likeness needs documented consent and a rights review first.

**Q:** What happens if the script changes after rendering?

Edit the script and re-render the affected scene only. The earlier render stays as a revision until you replace it.

**Q:** Can the same presenter speak to staff in another language?

Yes. Set the learner language for the scene, and the lesson can be voiced in more than 100 languages. A fluent reviewer should read the translated script before a person on your side approves the lesson for staff.
