# Turn a script into a reviewable video

A source-grounded script, storyboard, voice choice and output dimensions.

## Generating a training video from a script, in short

Generating a training video means rendering a lesson scene by scene from an approved script, a storyboard, a narrator voice and a screen size, instead of filming or recording a screen. Product trainers and support leads at software and service firms use it when recordings go stale with each release. Every scene carries a label saying its visuals are illustrations. Narrated video lessons rendered from your script are available now. A person reviews each scene, and fixing one means rendering only that scene again.

## What happens on the free demo

- Book 30 minutes. Pick a time with Elvina's team. The demo is free and runs on Zoom.
- Show the team your goal. Bring one role or one procedure. The team shows how Elvina would handle it, using sample materials.
- Agree on the next step. You leave with a plan for the first step and its price. Nothing reaches your team until you approve it.

## Who this is for, and when

A product trainer at an accounting software vendor needs a lesson on reconciling a bank feed for new support hires. Screen recordings go stale with every release, so he wants a script-driven video with three explained steps and an end question, clearly labeled as an illustration rather than a recording of the live product.

## How it works in Elvina

A product lesson combines a title, three explained steps and an end-of-lesson question.

- In Creation Studio, provide the source-grounded script, a storyboard, the voice choice and output dimensions.
- Elvina renders scene by scene: title, each explained step and the closing question.
- Review every scene for script fidelity, narration and media rights, and re-render only the scenes that miss.
- Approve; your manager then assigns the video on the Learning Platform.

## A worked example

A fictional vendor, Ledgerline, scripts a four-minute lesson called Reconciling a Bank Feed from its internal support playbook. The storyboard has five scenes: a title, three steps with annotated illustrations, and a question about unmatched transactions. Output is 16:9 with a licensed narrator voice.

- The rendered video combines a title, three explained steps and an end-of-lesson question.
- Each scene carries a label stating the visuals are generated, not screen recordings.
- The product manager approved after one scene was re-rendered to fix a misnamed menu.

## What to check before relying on it

Review each scene, narration and media rights. Generated footage must not be represented as a recording of actual product behavior.

- Every scene matches its storyboard line and script.
- Narration is clear and at a steady pace.
- All media used is licensed for training.
- The video is labeled as generated, not a product recording.
- The closing question is answerable from the three steps.

## Where a person stays in charge

Generated footage is not a recording of actual product behavior and must not be presented as one. Elvina does not publish the video or post it anywhere. Each scene is reviewed by a person. Confirm with product management that the script reflects the current release before assignment.

## Who this is not for, and when another tool fits

### This is not the right fit if

- You need a true screen recording of the live product.
- The script has not been checked against the current release.
- You plan to post the video publicly as marketing.

### Another kind of tool may fit better

- A screen recorder, when learners must see the real product exactly as it behaves.
- A video agency, for a brand film or a public launch video.

## Questions

**Q:** Can I use real screenshots inside the video?

Yes, if you upload them as licensed media. They are then labeled as captures rather than illustrations.

**Q:** Can I re-render just one scene?

Yes. Scenes render independently, so a fix does not disturb the rest.

**Q:** Can the video be translated?

Yes, as a separate step that produces a new narration and subtitle track for review.
