# An EdApp Alternative With an AI Employee for Role Training

Looking for an EdApp alternative? The EdApp and SC Training addresses now lead to Mitti by SafetyCulture, an operations system for sites, shifts and standards with training inside.

Updated October 27, 2026

## An EdApp alternative, in short

Searching for an EdApp alternative now leads to Mitti: the EdApp and SC Training websites send visitors there. Mitti, from SafetyCulture, runs sites, shifts and standards, and training is one part of it. Elvina has a narrower job, onboarding and role training built from your own procedures. A first-week path per role, completion per lesson and one-page job aids for the shift are available now.

Elvina is an AI employee focused on onboarding and role training from your own procedures, with job aids for the shift.

## What happens on the free demo

- Book 30 minutes. Pick a time with Elvina's team. The demo is free and runs on Zoom.
- Show the team your goal. Bring one role or one procedure. The team shows how Elvina would handle it, using sample materials.
- Agree on the next step. You leave with a plan for the first step and its price. Nothing reaches your team until you approve it.

## The short version

Choose Mitti if your work centers on inspections, safety and site operations and you want training connected to them. Choose Elvina if you want an AI employee to draft role training from your own procedures, record progress and put job aids in people's hands during work.

- Mitti: operations, inspections and training in one system
- Elvina: onboarding and role training delegated to an AI employee
- Both: inspections in Mitti, onboarding and job aids from Elvina

## What EdApp is built for

The EdApp address now redirects to Mitti, which describes itself as the operations system for every site, shift and standard. Mitti's training page describes bite-sized courses, turning a flagged inspection item into a course, an AI Assistant that can build courses, and assignment by team, role, location or individual with credentials stored in one place. Mitti's help center also describes onboarding workflows that guide new workers through the steps before they start.

- Training connected to inspections and site operations
- Courses built from flagged issues with an AI Assistant
- Certificates and credentials in one place

## Where Elvina is different

Elvina works as an AI employee rather than an operations system. Your procedures go into Company Knowledge with approvers, Creation Studio drafts a first-week path per role, the Learning Platform records completion per lesson and check, and new hires open their job aids in the Web workspace instead of waiting for a supervisor.

- A first-week path per role, drafted from your procedures
- Completion records a manager can check before someone works alone
- One-page job aids from the approved source for use on shift

## When EdApp is the better choice

Mitti, where EdApp now leads, fits better if inspections, safety checks and asset maintenance are the center of your operation and you want training to react to what inspections find. Elvina does not run inspections or manage assets.

## Moving over or running both

If you used EdApp courses and are deciding where to go next, export what you can and add the underlying procedures to Company Knowledge. Elvina rebuilds the role training from those procedures. Teams that run inspections elsewhere can keep that system and use Elvina for onboarding.

## Questions

**Q:** What is a good EdApp alternative?

If you want microlearning tied to inspections and safety, look at Mitti, where EdApp now leads. If you want onboarding and role training built from your own procedures with job aids for use during work, look at Elvina.

**Q:** What happened to EdApp?

When we checked on 25 September 2026, the EdApp and SC Training addresses redirected to Mitti by SafetyCulture, which includes training as part of an operations system. Check the vendor's own announcements for details.

**Q:** How do I move from EdApp courses to Elvina?

Collect the procedures your courses were based on and add them to Company Knowledge with an approver. Elvina drafts new role lessons from them, and you compare the drafts with your old courses before assigning anything.

**Q:** Does Elvina store certificates and licenses?

Elvina records who completed which lesson and check, with certification dates per person, available now; detailed quiz answers and scores are not stored, and automatic reminders before a certification expires are planned, not available today. For licenses issued by outside bodies, keep a register built for credentials and use Elvina for the training itself.

**Q:** Can Elvina deliver bite-sized lessons on phones?

Yes. Creation Studio drafts short lessons and job aids that staff complete on their phones, built from your approved procedures. If a procedure is revised, the lessons built on it are redrafted from the new version and approved before they go out.
