# I train your security officers on reports and handoffs

ELVINA · SECURITY SERVICES

A client sees your company through its reports and its manners at the lobby desk. I turn your report standard, daily log format and each client's post orders into short lessons and a card for every post. Guard licensing stays with your state program. A field supervisor reads a practice report before an officer works a post alone.

- Reports, logs, handoffs and service
- Licensing stays with the state program
- Post orders come from your client

## What working with me takes

### You send

One client's post orders, your report form and a sample report with names removed.

### You get

A post card and a report lesson for that account, with a practice report each officer writes before the first shift.

### Your time

We agree up front how much of your time the interview and approvals take, and what else you and your managers do.

### Who helps

I prepare the materials. My team sets me up, supports your account and runs your demo. A person confirms every meeting and every payment.

Example · post card, lobby desk

### Lobby post: day shift

## At the post, at the lobby desk and in the office that runs accounts

Your operations manager and I check these seats first. I begin with the account that opens next.

### Security officer

The post orders for that site, the daily activity log and an incident report your client can use.

### Lobby and concierge officer

Greeting visitors, the sign-in routine and taking a message for client staff, in your company's tone.

### Relief officer

A short version of every post they may cover, so a relief shift starts from the post orders instead of a guess.

### Shift supervisor

The pass-down log, the handoff between shifts and whom to call on the client contact list.

### Field supervisor

Post inspections, reading reports and coaching an officer after a client complaint.

### Account manager

Each client's reporting rules and contact list kept current, dated and approved by the client.

## Security services training for the paperwork and the post

### The account that opens next

Which client, which posts and the date your officers start there.

### Post orders, from your client

The client's post orders, your report standard, a few sample reports with names removed and the contact list.

### A card for each post

A short lesson on reports and logs, and one page for the post: duties, contacts, what to write and when. You approve both.

### A practice report

Each officer writes a report on a made-up incident, and a supervisor reads it before the first shift.

### When the client changes the orders

Send me the new version of the post orders: I redraft the lesson for review, then your supervisors share it with every officer who works that post.

### A post inspection

Your field supervisor checks a real handoff and log entry and decides who stands the post alone.

## A campus account that wants a log every morning

You said: "The client wants the daily log by 7 a.m. and an incident report within the hour, and eleven officers start Monday." I start with the report lesson. Example · contract security, corporate campus

- Tue The client's post orders and contact list walked through with your account manager
- Wed A report lesson, a post card and a practice incident drafted
- Thu Your account manager corrects the escalation list and approves
- Fri Practice reports from 11 officers, read by your field supervisor
- Next Mon First shifts, with a supervisor inspecting each post
- Next Fri Your field supervisor decides who stands a post alone

## Reports in English, help in Spanish

Reports usually go to the client in English, while some officers learn faster in Spanish. I can explain the report lesson in Spanish and keep the report form and the client's terms in English, as you choose.

- English
- Spanish
- Both

## What stays with you

- Guard licensing, required training hours and firearms stay with your state program and licensed instructors
- Patrol methods, access decisions and use of force are not in my lessons
- Post orders belong to your client; I write them down as given
- Your field supervisor decides who stands a post alone
