# Understand your plan: public pricing vs agreement

Compare public pricing with your agreement. The public pricing and your actual approved agreement or account record.

## When you need this

A manager preparing a budget line or answering a procurement question who has the public pricing page open in one tab and an old invoice in another. The question arrives with a renewal conversation or a request to add a second team. The trap is reading a public price as if it described their contract or account status.

## Steps

Free: $0 guided demo. Team: $100 per month with 40,000 credits per month. Enterprise: custom terms.

- Read the public pricing page once: Team is $100 per month with 40,000 monthly credits, Free is a guided demo, and Enterprise is custom.
- In the Web workspace, open the workspace settings and the billing area to see the plan name and period actually attached to your workspace.
- Compare the two: if your workspace shows Enterprise or terms that differ from the public page, your agreement governs and the public page does not.
- Note any question the comparison raises and send it to your workspace owner, who holds the agreement.

## What you should see

A fictional urgent-care network's operations manager, Carla, is asked whether a second clinic can share the same workspace. Her workspace billing area shows an Enterprise plan with a different period and a named account contact, so the public Team price cannot answer her question.

- The billing area displays the plan name, period dates and the account contact for her organization.
- Her note reads: public Team price does not apply; our workspace is on an Enterprise agreement; the second-clinic question goes to the account contact.
- The procurement team receives the agreement reference instead of a screenshot of the public page.

## What to check before relying on it

A public price does not reveal your account status or contract terms. Free is a guided demo, not a free account or credit balance.

- The plan name in the workspace billing area is the one used in any internal discussion.
- Public pricing is quoted only as public pricing, with the three tiers stated correctly.
- Questions about seats, additional teams or terms go to the workspace owner or account contact.

## If it does not work

If it does not work: check that you have a role that can see the billing area; a member sees only their own work. If the plan name shown does not match what finance expects, the workspace owner should compare it with the signed agreement. A public price never reveals account status, seat limits or contract terms.

## Questions people ask

**Q:** Is Free a free account?

No. Free is a guided demo that shows how Elvina works. It is not a workspace with a balance or learners.

**Q:** Does Enterprise mean a higher price?

It means custom terms agreed with your organization, covering scope, support and security. The price is part of that agreement.
