ELVINA · DOCS
Prepare a first Elvina workflow without guessing setup steps
An owner, a sanitized source, one intended result and a confirmed environment.
Practical guide · screens and limits can differ by plan.
When you need this
A workspace owner or an operations lead who has access to a confirmed Elvina environment and wants to run the first workflow correctly. This guide is for the first afternoon in the workspace. Setup steps copied from a marketing page were never meant to be instructions.
Steps
Quickstart brief: identify the task; confirm access; select a supported operation; prepare a draft; review it; authorize any delivery; inspect the result.
- Identify the task: one recurring learning need with an owner and a result you can inspect.
- Confirm access: the environment, your role and the source you are permitted to add to Company Knowledge.
- Select a supported operation in Creation Studio, such as a lesson from a document, and prepare a draft.
- Review the draft, authorize delivery in the Learning Platform to a small group, and inspect the result.
What you should see
A fictional payroll service provider's workspace owner, Elena, runs the quickstart with a sanitized version of the new-client intake checklist. She adds it to Company Knowledge with herself as owner, drafts a lesson in Creation Studio, and assigns it to two account managers as a test group.
- Company Knowledge lists the checklist with owner, version and the date added.
- The lesson draft cites the checklist and carries her two edits before approval.
- The Learning Platform shows two assignments with progress, and she notes what she would change before a wider group.
What to check before relying on it
Actual account setup and connector instructions must come from the verified product environment. This guide does not invent API endpoints or install software.
- The environment and role were confirmed before any source was added.
- The source used for the quickstart is sanitized or already approved.
- Delivery went to a small test group first.
If it does not work
This guide is a sequence, not a click-by-click manual. Account setup, connector instructions and any API details must come from your verified product environment and agreement. This page invents no endpoints, installs no software and creates nothing in your workspace. If a step does not match what you see, stop and ask your account contact.
Questions people ask
Do I need a connector for the first workflow? No. An uploaded document with an owner is enough. Google Drive or Notion can be connected later; Dropbox and SharePoint are planned, not available today.
- How long does the quickstart take? Long enough to add one source, review one draft and assign it to a few people. Speed is not the goal; a reviewed result is.
