THE FIELD GUIDE
Employee training resources for planning a first pilot
Better questions. Better pilots. Employee training resources here are practical tools for planning a first pilot with an AI employee: a pilot guide, measurement definitions, a cost calculator, templates, lessons and a help center. Each one can be read or used without an account, for owners and managers deciding where training work can change a result.

Define one job, name its owner, record the baseline, choose the smallest source set, and agree what evidence will count before deployment. The guide takes five steps: fix the business question, set a usable baseline, bound the experiment, watch real users do the task and decide with the caveats in view. Read it before your first conversation with Elvina, because those answers decide what the first sample should show.
A measurement playbook
Keep business measures separate from activity metrics. Record denominators, evaluation windows, confounders, and negative outcomes. The playbook defines four measures for a training pilot, namely time to independent work, manager time released, observed process adherence and knowledge freshness, and asks for medians, ranges and cohort sizes instead of a single headline number.
An onboarding and training cost calculator
The calculator prices what training takes today at your own hourly rates: learner hours, manager support, preparation time and direct costs. It compares two plans side by side, keeps every assumption visible and assumes no saving from Elvina, so each figure comes from what you type in. Nothing you enter leaves your browser.
Academy templates you can download
The Academy holds blank templates for common training documents, among them an employee onboarding plan, a standard operating procedure, a skills matrix, a training needs analysis, a first-day agenda and a training manual. Each one downloads as a CSV, Markdown or Word file, and none of them asks for an email address.
A sample new-hire training kit
The sample kit shows what one role receives in its first week: a role plan, a short lesson, a job aid for the shift and a practice check, all written from one source procedure invented for the kit. Each file opens in full on its page and downloads as Markdown, so you can judge the format before asking Elvina for your own.
A quiz from your procedure, made in the chat
Send Elvina one procedure in the chat and ask for a quiz. She drafts a short check for a new hire from your own text, and it stays a draft until your manager approves it.
Documentation, the help center and the blog
The documentation collects six guides that lead from a business brief to approved knowledge, practice and evidence. The help center answers practical questions about sources, permissions, credits and recovering a stalled workflow, and the blog covers training, onboarding and AI at work for small and mid-size teams.
Which resource to start with
Pick by the decision in front of you rather than by format. Every resource on this page is free, and none of them starts a subscription.
- Deciding whether a pilot is worth running: start with the pilot guide.
- Building a case a finance partner will accept: use the measurement playbook with the cost calculator.
- Needing a document to fill out this week: download an Academy template.
- Wanting to see finished material first: open the sample new-hire training kit.
- Testing one of your own procedures: send it to Elvina in the chat and ask for a quiz.
