Return to the right lesson and version

The learner account, course and last known activity in the actual platform.

Practical guide · screens and limits can differ by plan.

01

When you need this

A learner returning to a course after a week away, on a different device, unsure where they left off. Often a frontline employee between shifts or a new hire back from days off. What goes wrong is landing on lesson one again, or finishing a lesson that was quietly replaced by a newer version.

02

Steps

The learner confirms the assignment and opens the supported resume path, checking whether the lesson has changed.

  • Sign in to the Learning Platform with the same account the assignment was sent to, since progress is tied to that account.
  • Open My courses and use the In progress filter to find the course; the card shows the last lesson you opened.
  • Select Resume on the course card to land on that lesson, and check for an updated label that signals a newer version.
  • If a lesson was updated, read the short change note before continuing, so your answers match the current content.
03

What you should see

A fictional hotel chain assigns a housekeeping standards course to seasonal staff. A room attendant, Yusuf, started it on a shared lobby tablet and returns on his own phone eight days later. Meanwhile the training owner replaced lesson four with a revised linen procedure and left a one-line change note.

  • My courses shows Housekeeping Standards under In progress with lesson four named as the last opened lesson.
  • Resume opens lesson four with an updated label and the note: linen count changed from twelve to fourteen sets per cart.
  • The progress bar keeps his three completed lessons, and the course card on the phone matches what he saw on the tablet.
04

What to check before relying on it

If progress is missing, preserve the course and activity details for support. This website cannot recover private learning progress.

  • Resume lands on the last lesson opened, not on the first lesson of the course.
  • Completed lessons stay marked complete after switching devices.
  • Any updated lesson shows a visible label and a change note before the learner proceeds.
05

If it does not work

If it does not work: sign out, sign back in with the assigned account, and open the course again before assuming progress was lost. If completed lessons still appear as not started, send the course title, the lessons you completed and approximate dates to your learning owner. This website cannot see or restore private learning progress.

06

Questions people ask

Why did my course change since last week? Training owners update lessons when a source document changes. The updated label and change note tell you what is different.

  • Can I resume on any device? Yes, progress follows your account in the Learning Platform. What does not follow is a login someone else used on a shared device.
