Reviewing learning before release, in short
Reviewing learning before release means walking through a lesson the way a learner will, on a learner account with the target role, before the group is assigned it. It suits educators and trainers whose author preview looked fine while feedback, access or completion failed for real learners. Elvina supplies a learner-view checklist and lists each navigation, access or wording issue with the screen where it appeared; a release review and approval before assigning are available now. The educator fixes, reruns and then decides on release.

- Book 30 minutes. Pick a time with Elvina's team. The demo is free and runs on Zoom.
- Show the team your goal. Bring one role or one procedure. The team shows how Elvina would handle it, using sample materials.
- Agree on the next step. You leave with a plan for the first step and its price. Nothing reaches your team until you approve it.

Who this is for, and when
A clinical educator at an urgent-care network is about to assign a triage-protocol lesson to 90 medical assistants. Her author preview looks fine, but the last release had a practice question whose feedback never appeared and a completion rule that could not be met. She wants to walk through the lesson as a learner would, on a learner account, and see the completion register before anyone else is assigned.
How it works in Elvina
A learner-view review opens the lesson, attempts the practice and checks feedback and completion behavior.
- She selects the approved draft on the Learning Platform, the target role, and the completion criteria.
- She walks through each lesson using the test account with Elvina's learner-view checklist, trying each practice item and noting whether feedback appeared and completion triggered.
- Navigation, access and wording issues are listed with the screen they occurred on.
- She fixes the issues in Creation Studio, reruns the review, and releases the lesson to the group.
A worked example
A fictional network, Clearwater Urgent Care, operates 12 clinics. The lesson 'Triage Protocol Update', revision 2, has four sections and three practice questions, with completion requiring all sections viewed and two of three questions correct. A test account with the medical-assistant role is used for the review.
- The review found that practice question two showed no feedback on a wrong answer and that section four did not register as viewed on a phone.
- Both were fixed; the second run recorded feedback on every question and completion at the expected point.
- The educator released revision 2 to the 90 medical assistants with the review record attached.
What to check before relying on it
Check access and navigation as well as wording. The author preview alone cannot prove the learner experience.
- The review ran on a learner account with the target role, not the author's account.
- Every practice item showed feedback for both correct and incorrect answers.
- Completion triggered exactly when the criteria were met.
- Any wording or navigation issue is listed with its location.
Where a person stays in charge
A learner-view review proves the lesson behaves as designed for one account and device path; it does not prove the content is clinically correct, which the source owner already approved, or that every phone model renders the same. The educator decides when the lesson is ready. This page does not release anything.
Who this is not for, and when another tool fits
This is not the right fit if
- You need the content checked for clinical or legal accuracy.
- You want every phone model tested for you.
- The lesson has no approved draft yet.
Another kind of tool may fit better
- A course library, when the topics are general skills rather than your own procedures.
- An instructional designer, for a large program with branching scenarios or live workshops.
