Training acceptance checklist for a course release
Check a course revision item by item, with evidence for each check, before it is assigned to learners. The worked example below follows a fictional medical billing company.

Review a learning release before assignment
A training acceptance checklist is the final review of one course revision before anyone is assigned it: a line for each risk, from an outdated source or a wrong explanation to media rights and whether a learner can actually open it, with evidence or an open note beside each. Learning owners and reviewers fill it out in the last hour before release. Elvina fills a sample checklist for the revision you name and leaves untested items open. Approval by a person before anything is assigned is available now in Elvina.

Who this is for, and when
A learning owner, a compliance reviewer or a manager who has to sign off on a course revision before it is assigned. It is used in the last hour before release, when the pressure is to check boxes. Many checklists record approval without recording what was tested.
How it works in Elvina
Checklist: source current; explanation correct; practice answer justified; media permitted; learner access tested; support owner named; release audience approved.
- Write the exact course revision, its sources in Company Knowledge, the learner role and the responsible reviewer at the top.
- Work through each check with evidence: source current, explanation correct, practice answer justified, media permitted, learner access tested, support owner named, audience approved.
- Record the evidence or the unresolved item next to each check, in the Web workspace review or in this template.
- Release in the Learning Platform only when every check has evidence; otherwise keep the revision unverified.
A worked example
A medical billing company revises its claims denial lesson to revision 3 after a payer policy change. The compliance reviewer runs the checklist. Six checks pass with evidence. One check, learner access tested, is open because the test account could not open the quiz on a phone.
- The checklist shows six checks with a short evidence note each and one check marked unresolved with the failing detail.
- The revision stays unverified in the Web workspace, and the content owner fixes the quiz layout.
- After a second access test passes, the reviewer records it and the revision is assigned.
What to check before relying on it
Record evidence and unresolved items next to each check. A check mark without a tested result should remain unverified rather than become a release approval.
- Each check carries evidence or an explicit unresolved note.
- The revision number and source versions are written at the top.
- Release did not happen with an open check.
Where a person stays in charge
The checklist on this page records decisions and does not test anything itself. A check mark without a tested result should stay unverified rather than become a release approval. Access tests, media rights and audience approval are actions your team performs, and the Learning Platform release remains a deliberate step by the reviewer.

Who this is not for, and when another tool fits
This is not the right fit if
- You want a tool that tests access or media rights for you.
- Nobody is responsible for deciding who receives the course.
- You need a legal review of the content rather than a release review.
Another kind of tool may fit better
- A QA tester or your IT team, for device and access testing at scale.
- Your legal advisor, for whether the content meets a rule.
